The Leader in EMS Safety, Telematics and Integration
StreetEagle delivers EMS fleet management like no one else, and we add more and more EMS operations to our family every year. Why? Because for two decades, we have been developing and perfecting a telematics and driver safety platform that meets EMS-specific challenges. Other fleets don’t have the same exacting time windows, reporting needs and safety requirements that EMS does, so we know your daily operations require a more focused approach.
Simply put, StreetEagle has been the telematics and driver safety platform that EMS operations trust for over 20 years. They rely on StreetEagle's in-cab driver safety coaching system, which includes in-cab tools (such as buzzers and cameras) and an app to monitor and score driving behavior for their crews, to help build and maintain a safety-conscious culture. Add to that multiple driver identification options, best-in-class telematics and seamless integration with dispatch, billing and HR software systems... and there's little doubt that StreetEagle is the "go-to" choice for EMS fleets.
An Award-Winning Focus on EMS Driver Safety
The StreetEagle platform features a variety of tools focused on helping EMS organizations not only capture driver behavior data, but also measure, compare and share the data organization-wide. The specially designed myScore driver app encourages healthy competition, provides coaching opportunities for employees who need improvement, and a context for rewarding superior performance and creating a culture that equates success with safety. Cameras provide an extra, visual, archived layer of protection for incidents that happen on the road. In fact, a NJ-based EMS operation of over 140 vehicles (and StreetEagle user) was recognized with an Outstanding EMS Safety Award at a statewide industry conference.
A Specially-Designed App for Driver Scoring and Competition
StreetEagle also comes with myScore, a driver coaching app that allows drivers to compare their own performance to peers (or groups) and applies gamification principles to foster friendly competition among them to improve results. Supervisors can also use it as a coaching tool, reviewing scores and results with individual drivers and identifying the ways they can improve. StreetEagle customers have created company-wide incentive programs utilizing driver performance data they collect from the software. And, the EMS-specific design means that the myScore app can be adjusted to take into account when crews are responding to emergencies, when lights/sirens are on, etc.
Driver Behavior Analytics That Go Well Beyond Speeding
Since ambulances are 13 times more likely to get into accidents than other work vehicles, identifying and analyzing the way your crews drive becomes essential to building a safety-conscious EMS operation. StreetEagle EMS fleet management dives into driver behavior with more granularity than anyone, yielding insights into speeding, hard cornering and braking. And in-cab audible alerts let drivers know when they’re putting vehicles, crews and patients at risk. Reports, driver scorecards and dashboards help managers to keep an eye on performance and identify those who need additional coaching.
Multiple Cameras for Maximum Protection, Inside and Out
StreetEagle LiveCam is the perfect solution for EMS operations that require a more sophisticated, multi-camera configuration to capture live (or archived) video of their vehicles and crews at work. The basic configuration includes a dashboard-mounted, dual-facing driver cam (records both inside and outside the vehicle) and a high-capacity DVR. It also connects to multiple auxiliary cameras (optional), such as side view, rear-view, backup with in-cab video monitor and interior dome cams. LiveCam has you covered all around with video capture that can be used for driver behavior monitoring, proof of service, liability protection and/or performance evaluation.
Multiple Driver Identification Options
Most solutions, if they provide it at all, will offer a single option for driver identification – some form of key fob/card. But the StreetEagle EMS software platform offers multiple ID technology options, including some that don't require physical forms of ID which can sometimes cause administrative headaches. The keypad/RFID combination hardware provides an RFID reader for ID cards or key fobs, but the keypad also offers an alternative method of identification in case cards are lost. Another option is mounted devices capable of facial recognition. All available options are dash-mounted installations that easily plug and play to all wired CalAmp devices. Whatever your preference, StreetEagle has the hardware and installation expertise to accommodate.
Integration with Other Mission-Critical Applications (Always Included)
Integration is one area where InSight shines. Within one system, you can tie together: real-time location data, driver behavior data, fuel usage, maintenance monitoring, and even capture lights and sirens on/off and temperature readings (for medications) through sensors that can be installed. Imagine all of this data, accessible through one interface, AND able to be brought into CAD and billing systems as needed. That is what StreetEagle can do for your team, eliminating the time and effort that dispatchers and supervisors spend toggling through multiple applications.
