InSight Mobile Data announces the release of a newly modernized, totally redesigned interface that carries across all of their fleet management and safety applications: for desktop, mobile and on the web.
Designed using the latest material design principles and with the guidance of customer interaction and feedback, the new apps promise to streamline and simplify the way users collect and manage their fleet data and provide a unified experience across all of the company's StreetEagle® software platforms.
"This release is the culmination of about a years' worth of work from our development team, and it makes all of our StreetEagle software applications look and flow the same way," said Chris Eller, InSight's Director of Product Development. "For our customers, it delivers a modernized, streamlined interface that is clear, intuitive and very easy to learn. It also unifies the interface across all apps and platforms, so that managers and workers in the field have the exact same user experience that their office-based colleagues do."
On the same day the new software was released, a brand-new company web site was also launched which highlights the new designs and features for those interested in learning more about the StreetEagle platform.
"Fleet owners and managers who either aren't yet familiar with StreetEagle, or haven't researched the service in a while, will be genuinely surprised at what a comprehensive and unique fleet management and safety platform it is. InSight has been helping fleets to manage their mobile assets and workers for over 20 years, and that experience shows when you look at how much depth the service has to offer for fleets of all industries and sizes," said Doug Hawley, Chief Operating Officer.
Customers who have been beta testing the new software over the past two months have already given it high marks, praising it for its "easier layout and very clean interface" and calling it a "major upgrade in performance and speed."
Eller explained what the interface improvements mean for current and future users of InSight's fleet management and safety software tools: "This was never simply an exercise in style or a facelift. Our customers asked for a smoother interface that would be consistent across both desktop and mobile software environments and being able to deliver on that means that they will work both faster and smarter," he said. "As always, form follows function, and InSight has always strived to deliver software improvements that boost performance and make fleet managers' and owners' lives easier. At the end of the day, that's what matters to them, and to us."
