Booth #4190 was jumping during the recent Waste Expo show and convention in Las Vegas, NV (May 6-9), and it was all our guys could do to keep up. The Waste Expo show is one of the country’s largest meetings for solid waste companies and professionals, and this year InSight was excited to be there to talk about not one but two new products (the LiveCam Trackable Camera and real-time weight monitoring integrated with our StreetEagle software). We also fielded many questions about our LiveRoute real-time route progress and planning tool, and our unique Complete Fleet Safety Program.
InSight’s waste industry experts Tom Saraceno and Chris Schiraldi explained to a steady stream of interested professionals how the StreetEagle software platform can help them to KNOW, MANAGE and SEE the activities that are critical to their operation. Precise and accurate telematics helps them to know where their teams and vehicles are and what they’re up to. Real-time route progress monitoring and dynamic dispatching of job information helps them to manage daily workloads. And multiple camera solutions, depending on the needs of the vehicle and operation, help managers to see where driving performance could be improved and protect their drivers from false accident claims.
“Many visited our booth looking for a way to manage their routes… see them on a map, make adjustments in real-time, and gain insight into which stops were made, which were missed, etc.,” said Saraceno. “But once we got talking, they started to realize that the StreetEagle platform could offer them plenty of other technologies they had an interest in. Cameras? Yep, we’ve got a few different options to choose from. Driver behavior? StreetEagle has built-in dashboard, reports and alerts that can be customized to focus on the behaviors you want to monitor. Fleet safety training and programs? We’ve got an entire set of services designed to help companies build safety into their culture. To get all of this through a single software platform, that can integrate into their existing software systems – that’s appealing to this industry.”
